The Mission
Our name is derived from the deep desire to empower women and families as they prepare for the journey of pregnancy and birth. our approach is rooted in providing evidence-based education, support systems, and dependence on faith which will foster an environment for parents to become confident. we seek to provide guidance towards the family's desired birth experience and establish understanding of how to find answers to questions.
with this solid foundation, confidence in parenthood can take root and last a lifetime!

I am originally from the DMV, but have been living in Atlanta for the past decade. My focuses as a doula & childbirth educator are providing evidence-based information, supporting families with an empowerment approach, and reminding them that Christ is in the midst of this journey. It's a privilege to be trusted to enter the birth space, and I look forward to serving your family!

I also have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology

became a nurse
I've always been drawn to engaging with others in the best of times and worst of times. gaining the education + experience to safely care for others was crucial to my journey
2020
began birth work
I created my childbirth education curriculum + supported families birthing during the pandemic, both in-person + virtually
2022
gained perspective
joined the team at a local birth center + began working under the midwifery model of care. it has been an incredible opportunity that yields substantial benefits in my approach to providing support & guidance
2023
expanded experience
after collaborating with other amazing birth workers to create another curriculum from scratch, I shifted my focus to providing the necessary education & prep before entering the birthing time. I became an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor and that has given new tools for supporting growing families
